need RB26 engine/transmission/ecu/harness?

$3k from the place I just got a mitsu engine and trans. I made friends with a J-guy that works there and I'm trying to get the price down further. I don't need this engine yet but trying to strengthen the relationship with them for when I do...

What year or generation is the motor? Are there pictures?

Pretty sure he's asking if it comes with "a" RWD transmission.. not "the" rwd transmission. He likely worded it wrong.

Considering no one has swapped the AWD gearbox into a 240sx as well.

And I'm curious, do you have pictures of your GTR with 500whp? I'd like to see it and maybe a list of modifications you have for it..?

O.K... my bad on the misunderstanding of the miswording. But I was really trying to verirfy the RB26 ALways was AWD only.. there are so many variants of everything in Japan, I do not claim to know all about anything over there..

HKS2530 turbo's, upgraded intercooler, suction kit, oil catch can, cams, DP and exhaust, injectors and fuel rail upgrade, currently ROM Tuned undergoing swap to HKS F-Con V-Pro, various meters (as you can see) and a few other things you can't see :-) won't be 500hp for long.

Bada$$! That's more than roughly what I was looking for. As you probably got from my text I sounded skeptical to believe you. I saw your post on your car a while back but had forgotten. Very nice car!! Yea there are alot of variants in Japan (like an AWD RB25DET stagea =p).. your assumption is right about the RB26 AWD.

Be sure to update us RB guys in here when you're doing upgrades and such on it. That thing is killer, I'd love to have one. I think I'll manage with the drivetrain in a 240 though. =p I'm shooting for 500whp though, I don't think I'll take it above that. With that amount on 2wd I think it'll be plenty for me.

No worries on the skepticism, I am the same way. I understand completely and that's why I didn't go off on you but answered the question with just enough pointy-ness (is that a word?) to allow me to tear into you if you wanted to pursue it, but not enough to offend immediately if you are a reasonable guy, which it seems you are.

I forget what gen but it's either a 33 or 34 and it's REALLY CLEAN!! again, it's not mine, but I just want credit for the sale at the engine importing place that has it so I can get an even better deal when I do need it

If you have a chance, take a look at the oil cap. If it's like yours it's likely an R33. Every R32 GTR engine I've ever seen have different oil caps.
