So my shifter bushing has been messed up since my swap. And I installed a new clutch this past weekend and pulled the shifter out and inspected the bushing. The bushing on the bottom had popped off and out its circle home. The bushing itself had a small chip in the top edge, but snapped back on the shifter and seemed pretty secure not wanting to come off. Well apon hammering on the new clutch, it eventually popped off again few hours later. I want to try a new oem bushing and don't know where to find one. Any ideas?

Appreciate it. Just called the local nissan dealership parts department, he was a total *** hole and said he needed to know what it was to know what he was looking up, hell i had the part number. So I said R33 skyline as a joke, and he was like "uh no". Just curious, what US oem part does this x-reference too?

He should be able to look up the part number.I've had them do that for me on more than one occasion.

i gave him the number at first and he said he didn't have it in stock, and I mean the second i finished repeating it. I asked to make sure it was the bottom bushing on the shifter lever, and if he could check on the illustration. He said he couldn't look up the part unless he knew what car it was for. Which is what I was also trying to figure out from him.

Anyways, my buddy down at his work (local auto/performance shop) was able to look up the number in his system and said its for some kind of light nissan truck 4wd system. He could get it for $3.00 compared to the $9.90 the dealership was asking for.

you can always order online from multiple dealerships. any of the dealerships that have the part number search usually lets you put in a p/n directly.. for example something like this:http://www.trademotion.com/par...d=722

usually, but not in this case, it shows the applications too.

yeah, i was going to order from Pinnacle Nissan, but it didn't have an illustraion or a vehicle reference. But my buddy ended up being able to look it up at his work after I explained how the dealership was being an arse. So he can get me one, and its only 3 bucks, so no big lose. I'm just curious to know what exact year and truck it came on.
