Should the pilot bushing be able to spin freely in the crankcase? The one I got in my clutch kit doesn't, and I know the one on the other engine I saw did.. so that worries me. Can anyone who has done this swap help?

no.. it should be pretty tough to get in there, prolly need to get something about that size and tap it in with a hammer
