need quick help

im doing my brake job and im having a hell of a time trying to get my pads onto my caliper. I took the swing part of the caliper off and my pads and the little plates fell out. now how to i put them back on? im having a hard time

hey make sure you turn back the piston so you have room for your rotor between the brake pads. Gotta turn in clock wise but hold the gasket around it cause it might start to break

by plates do you mean shims, anti-squeal plates, or the pad backing?

you should get new ones by now...lol they are hard to source from anyone else except the dealer. But its best to take the whole caliper off and turn it upside down. The clips stay in, and all you gotta do is angle the pad in from one side and turn back upright to hold for the other pad.

I hope you understand. Im not sure i would if i read this either.
