need quick (and safe) way to see if i have ABS

I need to know if my '89 fastback is equipped with ABS

Instead of panic stopping in a deserted parking lot and subsequently getting harassed by a cop..........are there any easy-to-identify-parts I can look for in my car?

follow the brake lines from the master cylinder. If they just go straight down and out to the four corners you don`t have ABS, If they go into a big scary-looking cotraption with brake bleeder screws on it before heading out to the wheels you have ABS. Panic stopping at 80-100 mph is more fun though:)

i doubt that you have it...an 89 more than likely doesn't come with it.

an even easier way to tell if you have ABS is to see if you have 2 or 3 lines coming off the master cylinder. ABS only uses two lines, non ABS has three
