Need Piston ASAP
I need a set of forged pistons asap. I need to know which company/supplier can get them set out the fastest based on you experiances. I'm moving, my car is sitting in the garage with no engine,costing me money so I need to re-assemble asap. Prefer a set of CP's.

They stock CA pistons in stock 8.5:1 compression and in stock, .020" and .040" overbore. Can ship them the same day. They're made by CP.
That's where most of us with forged internals have gotten ours.

83mm: XTP-553P83 (stock size)83.5mm: XTP-553P835
From their catalog, XTP are made for them by CP Pistons. XT are Wiseco. Both are "custom" for them by their respective manufacturers.
So, XTP's are still CP Pistons.
It does seem they are only stocking 83mm and 83.5mm now. I have 84mm, when I got mine, mine were essentially custom IIRC in that I basically ordered them by ordering a set for the CA18DET but manufactured to 84mm in size.. they weren't yet in the business of stocking kits on a regular basis for the CA.
They did stock 84mm at some time but I would presume not enough people were overboring that far. Also considering the likely limited number of people purchasing, I wouldn't be suprised if they bulk ordered a bunch when I got mine years ago and then the rest sat on a shelf until they were all sold off.
You can call them and custom order in whatever size / CR you want, but it'll cost you extra.

I think, I'll be ordering from phase 2 motortrend. 84.5mm 9:1 compression CP pistons. I know it more but you can call and order + overnight ship.
