Sorry about the attitude, in the past people have just written me off as not knowing what i'm talking about or making a bad decision about the car and when you said that they only came in steelies I got annoyed because I saw the same thing happening again. But yeah those are the rims I was talking about. Thanks for the help.KDashy wrote:My mistake, after reading your post I remember seeing a wrecked kouki with 4 lug snowflake wheels. I believe these are what you're talking about? If you've run into a set, you should buy them as they'd probably look good on a S13, but not on an S14.
And I don't like the attitude of your post, I was just trying to help.

Haha, indeed I am a wahoo, my brother is a hokie though graduating this year. He also has a 240 but his is in bad shape....if you ever see it around its a white 1990 hatch with a loud *** exhaust because the engine sounds like its about to explode, just waiting for it to go so when my bro graduates we can make it our project car.elbles wrote:Judging by your location, and to borrow a phrase from South Park, "We don't take kindly to your kind around here". ;-) Can't help you out with your original request, but I figured I'd say hi, as a Hokie to someone who sounds like a Wahoo (judging by your user name and location, heh) . . . gotta get all the VA people together for a drive or something.
Hmm he lives near Lane like 5 minutes walking through the woods. My brother and I were both down at Tech for the game.elbles wrote:I have seen a stock 1990 white hatch on campus before; most of the time, the one that I've seen is parked in the Lane Stadium lot in the resident section. If your brother is on campus, that's probably his, heh . . . haven't seen too many of them on campus, really. Funny about that though, haha, what a coincidence . . . your family's Thanksgiving Saturday must have been *REALLY* interesting. Go Hokies! ;-)
I know you are, you're also on the cavcars site. I haven't seen you around though.black s13 wrote:i live in charlottesville! black hatch with gold enkeis...
Green Street I think it was, yeah it was alright, spent most of the game pissing off the people around me.elbles wrote:Oh, OK . . . up on/around Clay Street? I'll have to keep that in mind next time I see that car around . . .
Enjoy your visit to Hokieland? ;-)
I'm pretty sure Greg's aren't the stock ones painted black...infact I believe they are enkei's. I'm just looking for pictures of those types on a hatch. Cuz I want to get them. I realize they aren't any better than the regular rims but I wanted something different but not too worried about geting 17's because that will come with the big brake upgrade and 5 lug swap.Arrow wrote:Once again I will say this: I don't believe that Greg's wheels are OEM kouki rims... I could be wrong. But if you compare the lips of the grey ones above the picture of Greg's and his car they don't seem to match.
Now personally I think that Greg's wheels are awesome, but I'm not too sure that they in fact are zenki's.

Actually, there are subtle differences between the g20 wheels and the ones that came on the kouki 180sx/and optional base model kouki s14. The main difference is the center. On the g20 wheels the center bubbles where as on the kouki 180sx and S14 the center is flat. Its kinda hard to explain, but when you get them next to each other you can tell. Also the outter edge or "lip" of the g20 wheels is polished where as on the kouki 180sx and s14 its not. The only reason i know this is because i used to have both wheels.cdlong wrote:i'm suprised no one has pointed out that the kouki rims came on the G20. they suck just as much as the stock wheels, 15x6 +40
