I'm still trying to decide which aftermarket springs to go with, and I didn't get much help in the suspension forum. I was hoping someone could post up pics of any G they have with lowering springs installed so I can see the amount of drop each brand provides. Opinions of those springs would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you lower your G's suspension, you will be lumped in with the "rice boy" crowd driving 10 year-old civics with glass packed mufflers. Unless you are going for some kind of performance upgrade, I wouldn't bother. The G is too nice to tarnish like that. Just my $0.02.

You have the 2nd Gen so it will be diff...but here is my Sedan on 350Z Tokico HP shocks and 350Z TEIN H-Techs
I'm also running 245/35/19 vs the 245/40/19 that are stock size so its about 1/2" smaller diameter

The springs are progressive up front and linear in the back. Drop is about 1.5" all around. Wheel Gap is less than 1 finger. It would be perfectly flush with 245/40/19 sized tires.

I have really liked them. I think its a great drop, stiffer vs stock and ride quality isn't too harsh.

Totally disagree! A lowered car (not slammed) looks great! Reducing fender gap is not "rice boy" IMO. The difference between a 10-year old Civic and a new G37 is about 30k.

I'm not looking to slam it, at 35 years old I'm a bit past the boy racer thing. I just want to drop it about 1-1.5" to get rid of the un-sporty ride height. My car looks like a 10 year old Lincoln with a 3 to 4 finger gap... it needs to go down. I'm looking for a mild drop for improved appearance, but also a quality spring that will enhance handling without a bone crushing ride. I'm running Eibach springs on my BMW (which nobody ever mistook for a honda) and they provide exactly what I want, one finger gap and fantastic cornering. Not sure if that's the brand to go with on the G also, and that's why I'm soliciting feedback.

Anyone have some more pics for me to check out?

BTW ... I'm older than you ;)

Here's my car with Eibach springs. As you know, the progressive rate springs are great for daily driving.

OK, after researching for a couple weeks, I decided on the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and ordered them today. I've had good experience with Eibach in the past (and currently on my other car) so I figured I'd give them a shot in the G. I'll be sure to post up some pictures along with a review once I have a chance to install them, which will probably be some time in a month or so. Thanks to those that posted up pics and reviews previously.

I had Eiback pro-kit springs on my Audi A3 and the ride was really rough.

It must depend on the car. On my BMW, the Pro-Kit actually made the ride SOFTER than with my OEM springs, AND improved handling at the same time. I've also heard this is the case for Pro-Kit on the G37 which is one of the reasons why I choose them. We'll see...

it must be...cuz my friend has eibach pro kit on his 335 and he also said it rode better than stock, hence, the reason i got it for my audi. i guess it didn't turn out the same for me.

Eibach on my 2k2 Maxima was rough as hell. Tein H-Techs are smooth thus far on my coupe.
