OK I need your guys help/opinion on a personal matter of mine. I know I could have posted this on the "General Chat" but thought I wanted to get advice from turbo users so here goes. . . I purchased a kit from a company that "takes forever" to ship , was not satisfied with the wait and sent it back on the agreement of a full refund "against policy". Its been almost 2 weeks with no response yet as to when I can see the full refund. (and yes I did verify they received it back and signed for it). Now I am not a person to knock on anyone or any business hence the no names, plus I am new to this and was not sure if it would be ok to post something like this. If you would like more details I can elaborate more OR we can talk off forum coz I am not sure if this will be deleted, but I would like to know what I can do or what my options are as to getting my money back!! ANY help/advice/opinions are welcome and thanks in advance to all for listening you guys are a great resource!!

I would keep trying to contact them. When you have exhausted every avenue and you paid for it with a credit card, you can dispute the charges. As long as you can prove the products were returned because you were unsatisfied, the CC company will reverse the charges and you will be home free.

If you paid for it by other means, I would keep trying to contact the company and if after you have given it your best shot trying to let them be stand up people, then I would start calling all the governing agencys that this business works under. If they are an internet company, I would make a stink on the net. Remember, the squeeky wheel gets the greese.

**Update** just want to give an update on my situation. I finally received an email from the "company" and they are willing to work it out. They said that I should receive the refund by the end of this week so I hope that goes through well with no "delays". I will keep you guys posted and thanks for your input.

I am glad the shop decided to handle things in a grown up manner. It sucks when you have to get loud to get results. Hopefully they stand behind thier word and you get the refund in a timely manner.

as long as you do it in a respectful manner, i'm not against members posting names of vendors that they have problems with. potential customers need to see how a company does business, not just the product they sell. i'd rather do business with a vendor with great customer service and an OK product than with someone who has a great product but treats me like dirt.

Paypal has buyer protection. It's like buying with a credit card. If you don't recieve the correct product, don't get anything, etc. you can contact Paypal and explain what happened. They will chase down the seller and get your money. Obviously it would be best to first make a good effort to work it out with the company yourself.

Paypals buyer protection is a JOKE. You ever tried to file a claim? It's horrible, they are lazy, and often you get screwed. The only time I use paypal for large purchases is when I use my credit card through paypal, then I can go straight through the cc company and dispute the charges.

Uhhh.....I hate hearing stories like this. I went through a similar ordeal when I bought my turbo kit. I was told at first that it would be a two week wait, then a month, then it was three months, then they stopped repling to my emails and the phone was disconnected. I was forced to get very vocal about it by posting my dealings with the companies involved, contacting the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission. I was going to contact the local authorites to see if they could pay the shop a visit but luckily I received an email from the shop that day! I finally got my kit after waiting six months. What a ridiculous way to do business. If I had any clue as to how long the wait would have been I would NEVER have dealt with them.

So yeah hopefully I do get contacted today or tomorrow as to when I will get that back. I will keep you guys posted if you don't mine. Again you guys are a great resource and Thanks for your support!!!

***Update*** Well guys heres another update. Since my last email on Dec. 6 from them, I have yet to hear anything or see anything done on their part! I did find out some interesting info about their location(which I will elaborate more later) but I find this kind of treatment and service highly uncalled for. Again I am willing to work things out with the company but they are giving me no choice but to pursue some other actions like Frozen240 did. Very shortly I will be disclosing "details" of what is going on (if I am allowed here) and it may not look pretty but MAAAAANN !!!!!!

I agree, NICO as a group has been able to help other members reconcile their problems with certain vendors in the past. Please post the information so we can all avoid such problems ourselves.

This website gets about 1 million hits per day, that is some bad advertising for a company. Most vendors are quick to cough up refunds when threatened with bad PR.

So please post the company. I may have some issues with this said company anyway. I have several unpaid debts at the moment.

OK here goes the detail finally and hopefully this will let them know I am not playing around anymore! Apologize in advance for the long post but the truth must be told!

I bought my kit back in the end of June from NSPORT. I called and spoke to Alex there on the phone and everything seemed great. He said he had like 10 kits going out soon so I said please put my name on said list to get one of those kits soon (during summer). I did research on this forum and had found that others that ordered the kit had to wait a very long time like 4-6 months before receiving anything (but seemed satified after they had it). When I spoke(or emailed don't remember) them he assured me that those "internal problems" had been taken care of and that was in the past, so I ordered on good faith. I had to pay them in 2 payments that equaled $3500 (shipping included). After waiting for about a month I emailed (because I had to initiate contact all the time!!) wondering the status. They told me they were re-doing the piping for better flow and making the cold side aluminum. They said they would "upgrade me for free" so I thought cool getting something better. August comes along and I emailed again about the status of my order and they said they had half of my kit done and that they will ship out what they had in stock. Fine I thought I would at least get something to look at! Almost 2 weeks go by and FINALLY A huge box arrives with everything MINUS the fuel pump, wastegate, and the all important PIPING !! They told me it was backordered so I wait some more. I took the initiative to call/email TIAL and find out how long it would take and they said they were backordered but are currently shipping out the wastegates to fulfill orders and everyone should be receiving them early next week (I contacted them on a thur/frid). About 2 weeks go by and no contact to me about the status and its about October/November. I was told he had been overseas "checking on the status of the piping" I believe or products not sure. Anyways by this time I was tired of waiting but more importantly I not happy with the no contact for super long periods of time. So I decided to send everything back for a refund. I explained my case and they agreeded to a FULL REFUND because I had waited for soooo long. They told me there is normally a "restock fee" of like 25% but I did not have to worry because it was their problem not mine and he agreed on a full refund. So they said just send everything back and AS SOON AS THEY RECIEVE IT they will issue me the refund. I shipped it back 2 days before Thanksgiving OVERNIGHT (so that it wouldn't get damaged much), tracked it and they received it as scheduled....2 WEEKS go by and no word on ANYTHING. Remember during those "wait times" I am emailing and calling leaving voicejail messages. Finally I get an email back saying that they close from Thanksgiving to the end of the year so no one is at the office or answering calls. I guess my crystal ball forgot to tell me that. Anyways he did say that they will try to get a check to me asap but that he could not sign them alone. Also that it would be a less amount for now that was the best he could do because of the restock fee. So I waited another week and still nothing. I did notice that GT PRO was in the SAME EXACT BUILDING and same address (please keep in mind GT PRO has nothing to do with this ordeal and are a superb comany!) So I called them and asked if they could do me a favor and if they "saw" the guys at NSPORT to tell them to contact me asap or I was going to start posting, better business bureau, etc., (and my boss if good friends with the State Att. Generals' wife and he was willing to help me out). So "shortly" after I said that I got an email saying that the check was in the mail (it was a friday) and I should receive it shortly but it was going to be for a less amount and that they would get me the rest after the Jan. 1. So I thought fine something for now would be better than nothing. Waited (I have patience huh) for the check to arrive which would have around tuesday/wed. . . . .nothing. ... Finally on Wednesday I got an email stating that I have money from NSPORT from paypal for $2800. So I went to paypal to receive, turns out I had to upgrade to their business account and they would charge me 2.9% + .30 (81.50) and that took 3 days to clear. On that same email they said this would be faster and that they will try to get me AT LEAST another 10% beggining of next year...... I have not emailed them back as of yet but wanted to POST this here because I am fed up with this treatment and don't want anyone else to go through this. They must think I am some kind of child they can **** around. I do not know if this post will delay my remander $700 they owe but we'll see. I probably could have done things a bit different and many others may have not been as patient as I am but I am always willing to work things out in good nature first...

Thanks guys for listening and being a great resource. Any questions or comments let me know and I will try to answer as best I can. Also sorry for the delay in response been real busy at work ( at least it didn't take 4-6 months ) Peace . . . .

This is the first time I've heard anything bad about NSPORT. However, its seems to be a valid problem.

Bad news though, you used PayPal. So unless you used your credit card, or paypal through an ebay site, you may never get any money back. PayPal has been known to give no help what so ever as far as refunds go.

I'll talk to the admins of the site and see if they have any idea's.

nsport's reputation has been on a steady decline over the past couple of years over situations EXACTLY like this one. it's the one reason why, as tempting and promising as their kit is, i refuse to buy from or recommend them.

Just an update:

The remainder $700 they owe me I have not seen because they said the only way they will refund the remainder is when they sell that kit. ?!? I think its about time to take off my gloves? Let me know what you guys think. You guys usually have good advice eventhough I think I know what I must do. Thanks
