I was putting in my new 50lb injectors and one of the black rubber gasket fell into the engine bay never to be found again. I searched for like 30 min and can not find it anywhere in the engine bay. It is the black rubber seal that the injector sits in. Not the o-rings, but the rubber gasket that sits on the pleanum, then the injectors fits into it. Sorry, I am having a hard time explaining it. If anybody knows what I am talking about, please let me know what the part # is. I am going to have to go to the dealership and order some, or if some one know somewhere online that would work also.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I'm glad I'm not the only one who drops tools and parts in the engine bay and then spends hours trying to get them back....

When I changed my injectors out to MSD's, i dropped a set of parrot pliers between an intake manifold runner and it was wedged between the block and the bottom side of the intake manifold. Spent an hour and a half getting it out using yarn, magnets, washers, etc and literally no more than 10 minutes later it fell back down again (but it was easier to get this time because it was upside down). So I tied the pliers to the hood latch so it was impossible for it to fall down there again.

Anyway, uhh, yeah about your post, your question was answered by matt black
