Need Opnion On Intercooler Issue
Ok, so I was going to do a MKIV Supra stock SMIC, SR cold pipe and have the shop custom fab me up a hotpipe. Then, bang, an ARC for a CA shows up on my radar. So here is my dilemma: The Supra IC is in my garage, as well as an SR coldpipe. Some custom work will have to be done to get this in, but it is do-able. Should I ditch the Supra IC, get the ARC one and get a pre-made hotpipe, or should I just let the shop sort it all out and jsut pay for it and go. My biggest deal is that I don't want to wait anymore....I want the damn CA that is sitting in my garage in my car!
The hotpipe is the pipe that goes from the turbo to the IC and the coldpipe goes from the IC to the throttle body.
AZ: I posted here because it is a general IC question of opnion, not a specific "how do I" question. Just seeing if folks had opnion on my headache. I did find out that Silvia Werks (shop doing install) has the ability to fab me a hotpipe so I think I will jsut stick with the JZA80 unit I already have as the ARC unit is about the same size.
