Hey Im new to the site and to the 240 scene but been trying to get one for the past year. i found one earlier today that looks clean and well taken care off but wanted another opinion on it. Its unmodded and belonged to an old man for the past 13 years. Brakes are good and interior is almost perfect besides the drivers seat and it needs a new head gasket (the car overheats after about 10 minutes of driving but could be something else). The guy is wanting $900 for it and i wanted to make sure it was a good deal.

I bought my 240 for 500. The guy thought it had the same problems that like the one you want to buy. Turns out, it was only the radiator, water pump and thermostat.

Buy it. It's a good deal.

Lol just drive it every 10 minutes then. =P Honestly, that is an awesome price for an unmolested car with a simple overheating problem. Only thing though is you need to know if it was driven for a while, while overheating.

yea i dont no how long it was drivin while overheating but i plan on doing a motor swap to either a sr20det or getting another ka24de with less miles on it since this one has around 222,000 miles on it

If theres no rust... BUY IT! It looks clean, and most people buy shell 240s for $900 bucks! You can fix the overheating problem, and the headgasket! But the headgasket may not be the reason its overheating! It may be something else! But it looks super clean, and i would buy it!! Try and see if you can get it cheaper though! $900 is good, but lower is always better!!

I agree, 900 bucks is a great deal for an unmodded car. Jump on it!

unfortunatly 900 bucks for a clean 240 is a great price. Drift tax is a b****. Probably not a head gasket buy it
