Need opinions..please!

i tried this on a different forum on nico, but no responses....

Ok so here is the dilema. i was saving to get SPL coilovers when a lil bump in the road stopped me from doin that. I lost my job and now have minor bills to pay, and can not offord the SPL's. So i started lookin to see if i could buy some used coilovers, but nothing really has come up. So now i'm lookin at AGX's. Now i know they are not a nice set of fully adj. coilovers, but i know a lot of people have them, and they are adjustables. So i wanted to see wut you guys thought about this. Should I wait a while, Stay w/ my GR-2/S-tech set up, find a job, save more money and get the SPL's...orrrrr should i buy a complete set of adjustable agx shocks, with pillow ball mount chamber plates, and adjustable coil overs for 300 bux, rite now?

Really depends on what you're shooting for. If you want an all out track car, or a daily driver. I had eibach sportlines for a while mixed with AGX's.. nice combo, somewhat stiff, but I got used to it. Big bumps hit hard though.

I've also had Ground control coilover sleeves. They made the car handle sweet, with just a slightly stiffer road feel. Rough roads were very rough though.

If you're budgeting though, in all seriousness.. the stock suspension does not handle that badly. It's already better than most cars stock anyway. Anything you do will put you into the same ballpark of much more expensive cars.

I'd just get some good springs and shocks if I had to do it again. But I like a little more comfortable ride over all out performance.. silly me :P

well i finally got some responses on the other thread (exactly like this one) and they all have said to pass on he agx's. http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=85900so now i really have mixed feelings. but i guess i am leaning towards saving for SPL coilovers.
