If you could choose ANY 2010 G37. What model would it be.

I may be making the leap and getting a deal.

You don't have to give me an explanation (although it would be kewl if you did)

Thanks all..I look forward to your responses!

I just bought a 2010 G37x, black with black/aluminum interior and the Premium, Navigation and Premium Wheel and Tire packages, and I just love it. So I would recommend that combination personally.

I tried a Sport model, and didn't like the way the seats felt. I'm about 6'5", and it was just uncomfortable for me.

You didn't mention where you live, but I'm in the Midwest and AWD is just a must here. I would have been tempted to get it anyway though, and it's just far more practical and likely ups the resale value.

The amount of money was definitely the most I've dropped on a car before, but well worth it thus far. Good luck shopping.

The G37 XS. It's got the all-wheel drive you want and the sportiness you need.

Sean what took so long?

LOL

Lets see. You have a family with baby on board = sedan

You live in cold climate= X or XS

You like sport seat =XS

Don't like sport seat= X

Problem solved case closed call your dealer dude and make the deal and post pictures EH.

For a change you don't have to deal with snowtires if you get the X. You'll love the 7 speed. I'm telling ya.

OK, have to make some assumptions......

IF we didn't already have a G35X sedan, then I would want a G37X sedan....without the sport seats.

Since we already have a G35X sedan, then I would pick a G37 Coupe without the sport seats for ME.

I REALLY enjoyed the X this winter in the few snows we had!!!!AND, it is really fun to drive on the back roads too!!AND, Renee LOVES the upgraded interior (05 to 08)

Ha ha ha Zozo!! Well..the wifey has an Altima so having a newborn is a small part in the decision making.

Although all wheel drive is a big plus..I love MT

Are the sport seats that bad??

I do like the Sedan (of course it's a beautiful ride) but I still have a MEGA soft spot for the coupe.

A convertable isn't even a thought, definitley not for me.

I'm sooo torn. I don't know what to do. Let me re-phrase this..I'm REALLY torn.

I prefer the looks of the Coupe over sedan. But the sedan can be more practical if needed and it's still a hawt car. The insurance for the sedan will probably be lower too.

But I'm such a "coupe" guy. Yes I know the sedan is a fraction faster.

I do know that no matter what it will be white with tints whatever rote I go.

I don't know I don't know I don't know

Aaarrgghhhh

Sorry you are having such a tough choice, kiddo. I'm lucky with the fact that my hubby always does the driving so we always take his big ole 4-dr truck. I have always been able to have a sports car. 99.9% of the time, it is just me in my car.

Flip a coin.

YES, we thought so!!!! And, we did take one out for a fairly long drive.

Sounds like you need to take a sedan for a test drive!!However, if you can get by with a coupe and don't need the X.....

Also, get the vin from a coupe and sedan and call your insurance company to see if that is even a concern.

It's aboot time!! Let me give you my rationalization for getting the sedan over the coupe...it's family friendly and handles about the same as the coupe. I got sick of waiting 10min for my passenger seat in my 05 to move forward to install the carseat. The sedan's doors open 90 degrees so it makes it a snap! Plenty of headroom for adults...and it has rear AC vents.

With this generation, they really improved the look of the sedan...past years you could easily tell the difference between the two...now, not so much.

Sport seats are a small compromise for the increased handling and better brakes (I LOVE the sport calipers). You can modify the seat to remove the metal bar if you want...it's only the drivers seat and a common Porsche mod.

I love the NAV option too...the rear back-up camera is sweet!

The main reason I didn't get a Sport is the different wheel size and not being about to rotate the tires. I'll never have another car like that. My S2000 was that way. After about 6k miles, the tires were crappy and rode and handled bad. That car wore out back tires BAD. I will never own another car that the tires can't be rotated....PERIOD!

Good job Sean!!! I say, go to a dealer and DRIVE THEM ALL!!!!!!! Some people don't like the sport seats, But I love them. Yes, you do need to give it a little while before you break them in, but whatever. 6MT would be fun, and rare. Seriously though, go drive them.

Sean yes the sport seats are not my cup of tee. Joe is right you can remove the bar not sure how much better it is with that but as it is coming from the factory it is to rough for me. I take long trips and that would kill me.

You have to make a decision MT vs X. Too bad they don't have MT on the X.

Also not sure if you tried the 37 but the 37 coupe is smaller inside than your 35 coupe. At least it feels like that too me. I have not checked the #'s. You should take out a 370 for a spin. You might end up loving it. I know I do. I think I would take the 370 over the 37 if MT is a must other than that I'd probably take the X. 370 feels much more conected to the road. The interior is improved to over the 350.
