Hi, I own a 2010 2.5L AC, and I've been wanting to put on a new exhaust for awhile now. I'm looking at axle back exhausts only. Of course, I don't want anything that sounds too ricey. I'm looking for something as aggressive and deep sounding that you can get for a 4-cylinder that is pretty stock. I've looked on YouTube and done the basic search, listening to Stillen, Nismo, GReddy, Magnaflow, Borla, ect., but it's kind of hard to tell from the internet what the exhaust really sounds like once it's broken in. I'd like real reviews and opinions from people that actually have these on their own cars. So...any ideas?

Removed emblems, limo tinted windows, tinted side mirror turn signals, painted brake calibers red, Eibach lowering springs, 20" Zinik wheels with Toyo tires, aftermarket G35 style spoiler, LED interior lighting, and orange under the dashboard lighting...for now. :shifter:

I don't think you can get up to that tone you want with only axle-back systems. You'd need a full cat-back setup. Had magnaflow axle back before, sounded nice but too quiet for my taste.

I'm not necessarily looking for it to be loud, I just want the exhaust to sound nice. If I go cat-back and I don't have any engine mods, that's when you end up having a ricer sound that's too high-pitched.

Went with the Borla Axle Back. Has a nice tone, not too loud, and definitely looks a helluva lot better than the stock. Had mine for 10 months now. Never recorded it tho. Thinkin of upgrading to full catback exhaust soon myself.

I had my own custom fabricated catback...right after the the third catalyc converter....i'm now thinking about cutting it off though...or maybe just put on my racingline y pipe...anyway..if you are looking to save some cash then go the custom route at a shop and just get a transverse muffler or however you spell it....it will sound nice and not cost over 400 with new piping....if you want a nice look go with the axleback systems that have two independent mufflers...like magnaflow and others...... I actually got a used magnaflow axleback made specifically for our cars that I'm trying to sell :naughty: if you're interested !

No worries. Not many full exhaust options, so was just wondering.
