My source shows that the bore for 'M' is 66.1 whereas the bore for the 'G' is 67.1 .4drsleeper wrote:I've found a set of 19" M35/45 Sport rims brand new in the box for $600. First of all I'm not good with offsets and fitment so I need to make sure I won't have any issues. Secondly, what do you guys think about the price? Thirdly, What about looks on my 08 Sedan?
But is the bore the same or not? If not then there is an issue other than looks. I can't tell since I have seen the size listed differently.Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:I have seen the m's 19's on a G sedan and it looked really nice... Are the spacers required for fitment reasons? I was hoping to get away without using spacers but maybe it's not an option.johnparkyourcar wrote:600 is a really good deal especially new... ive seen used sets in good condition go for 1k. get those and throw on some wheel spacers it'll look good
I think the importance is not whether they can be made to fit, but if they fit safely. What is important about the bore is that it is designed to take the load of the wheel rather than the lugs. If the bore is too large then it will not do this without a center ring or the equivalent provided by a spacer. If the bore is too small then the spacer can be used to move the bore out far enough to clear the hub but this then means the stress is transmitted to the bolts. If a center ring is not used if the bore is too large the same problem is present. I don't know if the bore is the same since I have seen too many listings for different bore sizes.4drsleeper wrote:I'm glad everyone thinks it would look good. Now I just have to find someone who knows wether or not they will fit.
Currently I have the factory 17" rims with a +45 offset.biggie wrote:What is the width and offset of the 19's you currently have? They are probably close to +50, so could be about the same and would be good. Unless you wanted them to sit more flush, then a space could be used. usually no more than a 5mm spacer is used unless it is a bolt-on spacer. And many, many people use spacers, just need to check the lugnuts more often.
Funny you say that because he also said they didn't come with the TPMS.smockers83 wrote:$600 and new? Hmm, I'd be a tad skeptical. Too good of a price. Wheels may be stolen or fakes. That would be my first inclination.
Better go check the M forums to see if anyone posted about stolen rims first.
I came up with 67.1 or 66.2 or 66.1 for the 'G' using the same search methods and also a book I have on wheels. One thing I did notice in the book was that the 'G' followed a listing for Hyundai which is also listed at 67.1 so maybe they carried the number over to the 'G'.biggie wrote:From a google search looks like all Infiniti wheels (except QX4 and QX56) have 66.1 center bore.
