I bought a motor mount driveshaft combination a long time back, finally got to the point where i needed the drive shaft, tested it, and it was to long. turns out i got an s14 rb25/26 driveshaft instead of the s13 rb25/26 driveshaft (about 2 inches longer)
my delima is this, i could have gotten the driveshaft modified locally for about $80. shifting and boxing to mckinney was $50. what has happened is their supplier of yokes is out so something that should have taken 4 days to get back (once it got to them) is now going to taking about two weeks. the other problem is the driveshaft is the last thing i need for my 240 to move. and given my schedule, i only get to work on my car on the weekend, every other week, this weekend being the next time i go home, and it won't be there until next mon/tues (if they get the yoke in tomorrow)
opinion time, what should i do?
ask for overnight shipping?deal with it?ask for reimbersement of my shipping cost?other? please provide reasons too.
also, i've been in the same situation as this but on the side mckinney is in now. in that case the person got a %15 discount on all the items that were delayed. i know what its like to be on both sides and am curious what others think. any input is appreciated.
