I've got a small leak in my oil pan, most likely from the engine being shipped from Japan to upper midwest USA riding a pallet... sitting on the oil pan the whole trip...

Anyway, I'm considering an upgrade and need some help picking out a part. I have a very meager budget, but I think I can manage to get this one:

Thoughts? :gotme

I would stick with the greddy unit. Find a used one on yahoo or stick to some forums. There are a few out there now for a decent price.

Problem with cast pans and cheap product is that the machining on the flange may not be perfect and could leak. Or buy it, but at the very least check the level. Just like checking block deck for head gasket in the fsm. Do that same process.
