Hey everyone,

This is my first post here on NICOclub, I just started my R34 project this year . I've been on eBay religiously looking for parts and I happen to stumble across this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

What do you guys think? Yes its a good substitute or no its not ? Would you say its just as good as the engine in the NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R V SPEC II NUR?

Thanks for your help/opinions.

keep your current engine it's a N1 like the one you are looking at !!!

lil history:Well Nissan released the final production models of the R34 GTR called the Nur in February 2002. It was sold in 2 different models: the Skyline GTR V-spec II Nur and the Skyline GTR M-spec Nur. The Nur was named after the famous German Nurburgring racetrack, where the Skyline was developed. The Nur model featured an improved RB26DETT based on the N1 racing engine, used by Nismo in Motorsports. The VspecII Nur is based on the regular VspecII model, and the Mspec Nur was based on the regular Mspec model. Other than the addition of the stronger reinforced Nur engine, the Nur models also included a different color of stitching on the interior trim, as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h. Nur Spec engines are more stronger than the standard RB26DETT with an N1 spec engine exclusive to the Nur. Twin ball bearing metal turbochargers (Much stronger than the standard ceramic turbos used), Reinforced N1 cylinder block, N1 pistons, N1 piston rings, N1 Con-rods, N1 oil pump, N1 water pump and N1 exhaust manifold.

Hi thanks for your fast post! Sorry if I wasn't being clear (I tend to do that) but I don't have a engine right now that is why I was wondering if this was a good replacement or substitute.

Apparently, you guys aren't reading the sticky threads when you post in this forum.

Shame, shame.

This is an engine thread, thus belongs in the RB forums, which I noticed you made a duplicate in.

Why, yes I did...

Hey, I'm human. We all make mistakes....which can be rectified.
