Hi..I'm fairly new to using this site, but am finding it really informative and with lots of useful/interesting info, to boot! Thanx, AZhitman for a job well done! I see we're both from AZ; you in Surprise and I, in Nth Phx.! Okay, my question is this: I'm having a helluva time finding out how to get/find the OEM part # for an "EVAP Control System Pressure Sensor", for my 1996 Nissan D21 XE, King Cab, 2.4L, 2WD. The only numbers I do have, are the ones I found stamped on the part itself, which are: "PS55-01 G", below that, is "6507", and then lastly, it's stamped. "BOOST SENSOR". I've looked all over, including eBay, etc., but this is proving to be very confusing. I've found that part # a couple times, but everyone, lists it as either a MAP sensor or fuel tank pressure sensor, etc. It's located underneath the truck, near the passenger side rear wheel, attached to a crossmember. It's the only thing preventing me from passing emissions and I'm soooo expired now!

Any help or suggestions you may have to offer, (or what other Nissan's might have the same part, I cld use?) would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, FYI...the inlet that the vacuum hose attaches to, doesn't point straight down, instead, it's at a right angle.

Thank you in advance!

Kim
