Need new VG30E

Im interested in buying this 86 300zx. one problem... 220K miles on it... anyone know where I can get a new/used VG30E engine????

The owner is claiming it runs well.. but still... 220K is a lot of miles.....

Try to get a compression test done.That will tell the story.Once you get results ask was it done wet or dry? hot or cold?Then post results here.

Should tell us a lot right there.

And if the engine ever goes soon, the VG 30 series was in a lot of cars, shouldnt be all that hard to find.

yes the Z31 guys like to get donors from maxima's, pickups and pathfinders
