Need new top & installation in Los Angeles

Got my car vandalized this weeked - wish they had broken the window to get in - but the jerks decided to slice and dice the roof over & over. Would love some advice on getting the top replaced. I know I don't have the skills to do it myself after reading the other threads here.

Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced place in the LA area that won't jack up the price when they see a girl driving in? Also, are there specific items I shoud worry about ( ie. I understand canvas is better than vinyl, do they keep my old roof?, etc.)

Finally, do others just keep their doors unlock to avoid this problem? I've had the car for 4 years with no problems but this is a really expensive one.

I will have to check where it is. Through a friend, I was told I can get the entire canvas and rear window replaced for $700. That was including installation. It might have been $500, but I will have to double check that price too.

The place is a little south and east of LA.
