Well, I just bought the car, and I have loved it! I am starting to find the little grimlins that were left "un-said" from the seller. My front driver side strut is gone I believe. When I push down on the car, it has no rebound and it is riding pretty bad. I guess it is time for new struts concidering it is a 11 year old car with 91k miles (and 3700lbs to boot!). So from what I have gathered from searching the forum, the only option for the front is to buy the inserts for ~$109 from infinitipartsusa.com and install. I did my own suspension on my Miata, and I learned allot, but the forums said the front is more difficult than normal. Can someone enlighten me the difference from a normal replacement of front suspension? Also, a big question is... where can I find a writeup on how to replace them? Is there one? What is average labor to replace the front two? I have never done installation of inserts. Is it hard to get the old cartridge out? I guess a writeup would be helpful.
