Need new struts on '97 QX4 should I try this myself?

I believe I could preform this work with some instruction, but not sure if I would have the right tools? Any suggestions.

you will need a strut spring compressor. be sure not to remove the nut at the top of the strut until the strut is out and the spring compressor is attached properly.
