From IoS, one of our NICO sponsors. At 25% off MSRP, very hard to beat.

You only have to replace the strut cartridge inserts, not the entire strut assembly. I bought OEM strut cartidges from infinitipartspeople.com for about $167.00 each. You are not going to find a pair of these made by Monroe or a decent aftermarket company for much cheaper. I have seen a complete set (4) made by Tokico (sp?) made for the 90-96 Q, but not sure about for the 97-98 models.

Good luck. Just be grateful you don't own a 99-01 Q with the active suspension. I heard it is well over a grand just for the struts!!

Ted

P.s. If you need any suggestions on how to install these, let me know. :D

The 99-01 Q45 does'nt have Active suspension like the 1991-1995 Q45. It does however have electronic suspension of some kind.

99-01Q uses electrically adjustable shock damping.......same as I had on my 1986 300zxturbo. Expensive to replace shocks, better off finding aftermarket non electrical ones{ I used Tokiko illuminas manual 5 way adjustables and they were way better than the factory part}

Only on t and the ae models. Standard models don't use them.
