Hi guys, I have a 1990 Nissan 300zx (Z32) that I rebuilt sometime ago and my speakers are old and need to be replace (cones are shot), they are between 12 to 15 years old, I'm not a stereo system expert so I don't know what should I look for. My z currently has component speakers (infinity) in the front and regular 4x6 speakers in the back plus a subwoofer. I have a kenwood headunit with a kenwood equalizer like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenwood-Kgc-...item23326a6a7c

One amplifier for the sub and one for the rest. I would like to go with the same set up (components front and regular in the back), I love the way the sound in conjunction with the tweeters and this is the reason I want components. I would like to spend around $200 for the whole set (had a budget of $150) and I was wondering what do you guys think is a good fit for that price range. I'm basically looking for something that can handle my amplifiers when needed (just once in a while) but able to project a great sound for my buck. I don't hear rock or anything like that.

What speaker/tweeter material?
I guess it would be better to go with directional tweeters.

I don't remember any info from my amps but I can get that tomorrow if need it.
I'm using this website to check and learn about them and I'm basically going by best reviews withing my budget. What would be a good combination if I need to go with different brands?

Again, I don't know much so I need suggestions, If u need more info to be able to help me, let me know so I can make a good decision. If u need to explain something please do so but making sure you are explaining this if you were talking to a MORON as this is the way I feel when it comes to all this stuff.

BTW, forgot to mention that a few years ago I bout another stereo set up for I bmw M3 I had and it came with a cross over, don't really know what is this for but u guys think that could help I can install it too as is sitting on a room doing nothing.
