As some might know, my pore 240 has been in a state of going no place for the last 2 months. so as we wait for the engine to be finished, the parts finally came in, after plenty of problems. so i go in to take a look at the pistons, and rods, and head work. to find that my oil pan has acquired a rather large dent (next to drain plug). I do not remember there being a dent, and they say it wasnt from them. So its my word agents there’s, so i need an oil pan. If you know were i can find a new, or used one could you let me know. it should be done this week/end, so its kinda urgent. if anyone has a oil pan they would sail me i would be very great full. If i remember right someone said in there post, that they saw 2 89-90 240s in there local junk yard, if you could pull one for me i would pay good. Thanks for any info

Well it sounds like you're doing alot of work to your car, it might be worth buying the JUN turbo oil pan. If you plan on getting boosted, you'll need it.

JUN sells a complete set of turbo prep things for our cars (240sx).It comes with everything from injectors, to gaskets, to oil pans.

I don't know what it would cost for you though, since you live in the States. I only know what the cost is in Canadian, without shipping or GST, so it won't be even close.

There's a few members on this site with the complete turbo prep kit.

Really i didnt know they were difrent, i wonder why i asked.

Sorry that was kind of uncalled for but i mean really, how many people dont already know this?? I just wondered if they were the same, seeing as they both have the same transmission bolt points. So i thought they might even shear oil pans as well. they could even share oil pans with the pickup, and altama/stanza. Am i sure of this no, so i asked. I am just trying to find all my options on getting my oil pan replaced. As it seems no one really had any good info for me that was of use. i guess i will just go with the 60 for the used one.

Also on the JUN oil pan, is there a site that shows this oil pan. the only oil pan i know of is for the SR. witch i can see being made, as it came from the factory with a turbo, but as for the KA, just doesnt seem like a sound invesment for a company. And if they do, it would more then likely be only for the 91+ (if they dont work together, witch has not been answered) as there are more of them on the road, so they would more likely have a turbo upgrade. Sorry for this reply, but i was kind of upset that my oil pan was ****ed by the machine shop and they wouldnt confess, so i have to pay.

You need a KAE? I have one sitting on the side of my house... how much is it worth to you? I will probably let you take it off my hands.
