The course was the infield of pocono international (i believe it was called the single infield). I noticed it on every turn except the two nascar turns which were integrated into the infield and the first turn going into the infield since it was such a slow corner. When you say dropped the sway bar, you mean removed it entirely? What kind of difference did it make?

Sorry--never ran double infield at Pocono, just North.

I disconnected the rear end links (zip tied the bar to keep it dragging so I could connect when needed)

The LSD will be the biggest improvement though --you need that for sure.

Spring rates -- I was running 550 Frt/ 500 rear and feel the rear was a little too stiff ( started with 350 rear from Ground control) --I think 450 would be the right rear rate.

Have you visited http://nissanroadracing.com/vbulletin/index.php yet --Great info there.

[QUOTE=91rs13]Well I know this goes against most of what you guys posted --but I dropped the rear sway bar after I installed the LSD ( Nismo 1.5) and it made a huge difference in the rear handling.

Where did you notice it? Was it at WGI? If so --what corner?[/QUOTETh]

If you dropped the rear sway bar, this would allow the car to roll a little more in cornering and give the rear more grip. Thus, if you have the front sway bar still attached, the car is probably set up more to understeer which is a little more stable in cornering. It also may have felt better, because if you can feel the car roll, you can feel the limit of the tire a little more. As I said before the more the car rolls, the more mechanical grip the car will have while the less the car rolls the less grip you will have but the more responsive the car will be. This is all limited to the tire you use as well.

On another note, I have never heard of roll center adjusters either. I can really only see the adjustment of your roll centers if you adjust the pick up points of the suspension arms onto the chassis or on the upright. If there were such a thing, this would allow you adjust the difference in your elastic vs. geometric weight transfer. I really wouldn't see a need for it though, unless you were building a very serious race car.

They are taller lower ball-joints. I seen some on ebay.

I run a Quaife LSD, and it's great on corner exits. Not cheap, though.

Quafe lsd...

Wife would kill me if I spent more than a grand on something that came in a box less than a sq. ft.... Aside from a stand alone ecu.

It's been answered, but I'll add my input because I'm bored.

I have a welded diff (basically a 2-way), but I drift. At my last event there were 2 tracks, one for drifting one for gripping. I ran the grip track for a while just for fun, and the welded diff allows you to keep a higher speed through the corner, as well as you can accelerate sooner out of the corner. The problem is since it splits power 50/50, in the exits of corners the car would start to slide. Now of course on the other track that's what I wanted to do, but when actually trying to grip it was fairly hard to keep the car straight out of the corner. Obviously lack of traction = slower times, so you don't want that, but for ~50 bucks a welded diff would make your lap times a lot better.

I realize you already purchased the s15 HLSD which is a GREAT choice, I guess my post is for people that are researching lol.
