This is a 1988 T-top 300ZX that needs the motor swapped by someone that knows what they are doing. Cash money and more work to come. Interested? Then read on first...

I have a brand new VG30E short block form Nissan with a Reman. head on it. the old engine is partially torn down and ready to be yanked. All bolts down to the transmission are out with one left to go and pull it.

I got ripped off by Patrick Higdon, Ricky Elam and Mike Grahm EACH already trying to get this car fixed. Patrick is on his way to jail over this and the rest going to court soon. So with that being said... if you're not a capable mechanic please don't bother me.

Now if you do know what you're doing I need to get this car completed. It's NOT a rush job but it is a pristine job. No slam ins wanted. Willing to pay the right person good money to do this right. PM me or email me at [email protected]

Anybody within a reasonable distance that has the tools and experience and a place to work on it will be considered. I'm trickin this baby out so there's more work coming to the right person.

Thank you.

One frustrated 300ZX owner that knows all the worst mechanics in Knoxville TN. Starting with Ted Russel Nissan... who blew it up when it was in the possession.

wow, sounds like you're a lightening rod for trouble, why not tackle it yourself? for all the drama you've already had I'd think it would be much easier and quicker, I got a bud from the area I'll ask if he has any local sources,I do know there is a decent Z club down there and I'd think they would be a good source of info on local sources, and while it's not really close you are just a couple hours from crawford z car service in nashville, well known for doing Z's right, and Doug Stewart is active in the local Z club and a decent guy

Second that.

No offense psycom, but SCREW YOU! You sent 1 person to jail over this? Well first, I don't understand how you can do that. Second, I don't see why you are sending people to jail in the first place. What are they doing or not doing that's causing you to fly off the handle? I fail to see how any competent mechanic would have problems swapping a stock motor for another stock motor. That is, unless the owner is placing absolutely stupid demands and expectations on them.

Or is there more to this story than you're telling us?

there is always more than one side to a story, so lets stick to the technical side of things and avoid making a long dramatic childish exchange that solves nothing

If he is sending people to jail and causing frivolous lawsuits over an engine install, I would recommend anyone in the area to stay the hell away from him and turn him around at the door. There is no way I'd ever recommend anyone to him just based off what he's said. Granted, I don't know anyone in the area to recommend anyway, so it's probably a moot point.

I also had bad dealing with Ted Russel Nissan when I lived there. I took my 86Na in for the Injector Service campaign and while it was there the Clutch master Cyl was damaged.

After I replaced the master and Slave in their parking lot I saw where the damage was done. the rear Seal on the master had a clean hole through it.

Now I can't say 100% this was caused by them but, I never had any problem with it before.

A few days later I spoke with a Friend who delivered parts for them and He commented with something like "That's not the first time they have done something like that." I could only figure because the FIC was to be done at no cost they had to make a buck some how.

That was the First and last time My car saw a dealer.
