Hey, my girl is looking at purchasing a 02-03 5th gen maxima SE. What are some common issues with this car? My sister owns a 02 I30 and I know she had IAC and MAF problems with the car not shifting out of gear or something like that. She eventually had to get a new computer for her car.

Your input will be appreciated because I like this body style, especially the HID!

those year VQ's are pretty reliable. the common problems for that car are coils, IACV,MAF's, rear valve cover leaks and rear main seal leaks. other than those common problems the car is pretty awesome. is she getting a 6spd or auto?
