Ok gang,I'm finally getting ready to get my motor/5 speed swap. I have just about everything.....except the elusive Crossmember. I have 3 salvage yards and between them 1 89 coupe...no motor or trans and..... no crossmember... I know I can get one from the dealer, but I'm broke as well... If anyone has this for an S13 let me know and see what we can work out... i think scrape some money together (i need to diet anyway)...

I used the auto mount and cross member. I fabbed a 3/8" steel plate to work instead. I basically cut a plate the size I needed to go from the front mount location to the rear mount location of the auto. Added 2 bolts and nuts and it is solid and good to go. In your area I would recommend painting it after you cut and drill it to reduce rust potential on the plate.

Thanks for the response... as a last resort I'll try to give that a try... I agree about the rust potential.. salt air plays hell on unprotected steel.. I have a possible lead on a salvage yard in GA that has a few 240's - if no luck that may be my last resort..
