now that I have some unfiled calipers, I need to know how to get some extended lugbolts to keep these big stupid rims from ripping the breaks clean off. Anyone know where I can get some longer bolts for a 300zx; or are lug bolts more universal?

just to clarify, you are running aftermarket wheels that hit your stock calipers or you are running aftermarket brakes that hit your stock wheels? please do tell us whihc and what wheels or calipers you are running so others can steer clear of them or at least know the aditional effort involved with them, and I assume the solution you are looking for is to run spacers with longer wheel studs? you might luck out and find something at your local parts store, the problem is most imports run the more common 12x1.5 thread patern, I know on the older Z's a lot of guys simply run longer more available SAE threaded studs, you just have to buy all new lug nuts to go with them

Luckly, nothing hit anytrhing. The guy pun aftermarket Motegi 18" wheels on and had to file off the NISSAN logo on the stock calipers. Now i need replacement calipers and they arent going to fit. I already have the spacers for the wheel, I just need to know where or how i can get some longer bolts (3/8 to half inch). Im very new at this and this is my first car ever. What exactly do you mean by 12x1.5? Is that 12 threads for every one and a half inches? What is the specs for stock lugbolts on a 1990 300zx? Thanks for any help

You can get NISMO longer wheel studs for the Z32 from your local Nissan dealer or from one of our many sponsors.

12x1.25 = 12mm dia. stud with 1.5 thread per mm of length12x1.5= 12mm dia. stud with 1.5 thread per mm of lengthmost imports use 12x1.5, most nissans use 12x1.25for us older z guys there are no longer aftermarket studs, so the sae conversion is popular and companies like ARP have a great selection of SAE's for cheap
