need intake plz help

i have a 91 s13 it's apperently a ka24de, because it's a DOHC..

i need a new intake system

but i dont know what the difference between a ka24 and a ka24de intake is..

..is there a difference?

and are they smog legal in california?

anyone have answers plz help

I had a ka24e and had to use a dohc intake. Its hard to find sohc intakes so since you got dohc you should be fine. I would use aem intake I think that is the only company that is legal in Cali.

if it has a carb number and sticker or an EO(executive order) number then it is legal.as for the intake, are you talking about the piping and filter or the manifold?If its the piping, i dont think they are different just make sure you use your current MAF.If its the manifold your talking about....they are way different

sweet deal, im taking it too get smogged tomo. ill tripple check with dude, see if he knows wuts up.

but yeah i was gonna get that aem but i wasn't sure, im pretty sure i can get one at autozone or somthing, if not ill get it off ebay.
