Need Insight: My Elec. Fans "Scream" When Cold

It only happens when the car has sat for more than 4-5 hours is the weird thing. I am running Altima fans. For the first 2-3 weeks, no probelms. Then, one day, I go out and bam SCRECHHHHHHH for a few seconds. Damn. That was annoying.

Now, every time I start my car from cold it does it for longer and longer intervals. It is driving me NUTS. Any thoughts? The fans still work fine, just this really embarassing and LOUD screech!

Yeah same exact thing with my fans... about three weeks and I hear a squeak... But in my case it might have something to do with my ac system blowing up in the engine bay... ac oil and crap on everything

you sure it's not a loose belt, I don't have the altima fans installed yet but my car did the same thing my shop tightened them up and the screech went away.

Yesh. I turn the key to ON, but don't turn the car on, and it does it...so it is obviously the fans since nothing else is running. It may be that I spilled some coolant on it and it is causing it to screech? I am going to hit it with a pressure washer and see what happens...
