need inputs

soo i fixed my car after it almost o\/er heated. it was fine. i found out it was a radiator hose that was really deterioarated and cracked. its fixed. but it wasnt acting well around 2500rpm when fixed. just really funny. so i found a thread on here about it possibly being a MAF which sounded reasonable. i had one laying around that used to be on my car. i put it on. flawless. i know i couldnt of done anything wrong since i\/e done it before. but now the car wont turn o\/er.e\/en when i put the one i first had.any ideas?sorry about spelling. im using my friends split key board. and the \/ doesnt work
