I purchased a set of used Tanabe sway bars and trying to figure out if there the real deal or not. The issue Im having is the size of the rear bar. Tanabe states the size to be 22mm. After I purchased the bars, I returned home to messure the bars with a digital caliper only to find out the rear bar I have is 27.6. Does anybody know if these could have been an older model Tanabe sway bar set. The bars are painted/powder coated silver with the Tanabe sticker on it. On the end of the bar it has 3 letters, I think they were TNE or TBE I dont remember off hand. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt sold some off brand bar painted silver with a Tanabe sticker on them. Thanks...

upgraded sway bars all do the same thing. Which is the same a stock but they are beefier.

Dunno if you got the right ones, but if the metal is correct and the welds are good use them. Just make sure you have the correct bushings now.

Thanks for the reply. I just dont want to think I paid $250.00 for painted Godspeed sway bars that can be had for a little over $100.00 for the pair new. I've searched and searched the net and cant find any info that Tanabe made a rear sway bar for the s13 that was 27mm+ in size.
