Hi guys, I need help urgently. I need to change the distributor on my '00 G20t, and I found an auto-recycler place that has a pulled part from a '01 Sentra. They said it will work on my car, are they correct?

If the Sentra had the 2.0, yes.

more importantly, you need an obdII distributor, which the 01 sentra is, so yes it will work. the distributor you need has an internal coil.

Thanks for the info guys! I got the distributor and put it in. I was told I need to move it around to get the timing right. I didn't know that and I just had the bolt in the middle. Anyone know the best position for the best performance? I don't have a timing gun, btw... thanks again for your help!

Find someone with a timing light or rent one some where.

Don't do it by ear, you could set it farther off from where you want to be than you realize.
