Ehh don't just throw it in. . Inspect it. . .replace the clutch get new plugs and wires. .just so you don't run into spark problems and s***. . .trust me I just threw a motor in before and there was so much s*** wrong with it. . . .get a good ka from a reliable source.

I bought a wrecked car. Took it home and started. I have 1990 with a auto, and I put a 93 5 speed in it. I got everything I needed, Wire harness, ECU, pedal assy, I took everything I could think and then some. I had a few body parts and interior I saved just in case I needed them. Then sold the rest to scrape yard. This way you have the whole car to pick at and transfer all the parts you need without running back and forth to a salvage yard.

I don't know for sure that you have to swap the engine harness. I went from auto to stick. also I went to a newer obd1 ecu. I would put it in first and start matching up connectors, then decide if you need to change.
