need info on a 81 turbo 280zx would also like to know value

Hello, i have recently acquired a "Mint" 1981 turbo 280zx and was wondering what the prices are for these cars . the beauty still has her original black paint job with tan interior and is still in great condition (all original), previous owner took excellent care of her (always garaged kept) she has about 49,000 miles and has an automatic. the car is a 2 seater with T-tops. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I'd guess around $5-6000, area will play a role, but the auto's are less desirable and the miles are low but not super rare collector car low, some guy had an allorigional down to the wondow sticker turbo S130 at the ZCOM for like $20k, but it had like 1000 miles on it

"rare options"? these aren't like american muscle cars that were ordered through theback door COPO department, there was a limited production 10th aniversary edition 280zx, available in two tone gold or red, the red being less common and more rare, still not worth a whole lot unless it's uber low miles, there was one for sale last year the guy was trying to get 20k for it and was like 3k miles, not sure if it ever sold, zhome.com has lots of production info

oh and 81 was the first year of the turbo, they were available only as automatics and the only year to use an external CAS, all others were located in the distributor housing

i took a closer look at the dash yesterday and realized that it has 49,000 miles not 95,000

ah, well that changes things a bit, might be an 8-10k car
