It would be nice if you gave the guy proper info, before telling him he could get flamed for asking questions.
89-90: These are call "pig-nose" by US enthusiasts, because of the two small vents on the front bumper. These cam with the KA24E, a SOHC, 12-valve, Inline 4 with 140hp and 155lbs/ft of torque. They were offered either as a coupe (XE) or a hatchback (SE). They are pretty much the same car with a few differences. The Coupe had the option of a digital speedo and a Heads Up Display. The Hatchback was the only one offered with a "sport package", which had wider tyres.
91-94: These were the first years to off the KA24DE, a Twin cam, 16-valve, inline 4 with 155HP and 156lbs/ft of torque. The nose of the car was changed, and several trim packages were offered. They also offered a convertible, (USDM only). It was offered only with a 4 speed automatic trans. 94 was the last year of the S13 240SX in the US Market, and that year the convertible was the only body style offered.
95-98: These were the S14 240SXs. They were only offered in a coupe form, with the KA24DE, with either a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed auto. It was offered in two trims, base and SE. The SE was the first S-Chassis car, save the 86-88 200SX SE, that has 5 lug hubs(5x114.3 bolt pattern). The SE had the option, as did the 91-93 S13 of Nissan's Super HICAS 4 wheel steering.
As for swaps. The S chassis will accept the RB series, CA series, KA series, and the SR series. People have swapped VGs, VQs, and GM LSX engines in as well. You can swap whatever you want to in your S chassis, as long as you have the money.
Hope that helped.
