I'm about to buy some 16x7 rota slipstreams from mach iii, they say that if I ahve acron style lug nuts then I woul NOT need to purchase other lugs... how can I tell?

This is a 96 240sx w/ stock lugs.

Thre are two types of acorn nuts, standard acorn (the nuts have flat sides on the full length of the nut) and bulge acorn (the conical seat is slightly wider than the sides of the nut and will have a round bulge at the bottom). If your nuts will slide completely into a deep well socket, they are the standard ones. It there is a bulge that keeps the nut from sliding in, they are bulge acorn. Some wheels can not use the bulge type because of the size of the hole in the wheel. If these are the factory '96 nuts, I'd spring for the new ones. That way you know they match the wheels and are new.

ok thanks for the reply.. also what of the rims? I like them because they are light and at a decent price that won't kill me.

edit: my lugs are actually hexagonal nuts (think bigger nuts) and don't really look like any of the lugs I've found online. But I think I know what you're refering to, the bulge style lugs have a bigger diameter base at one end of the lug.
