Ok i had a cut ca18det jap spec harness so i looked arounfd for a new one.... well i found a guy in germany that i bought one off of. Well when it got here, i noticed that it was a bit different than my jap ca18det harness. A main concern is that there is no spot for the ignitor to plug into, but there is a place for the dropping resistor to plug in. Does anyone know what harness this could be, maybe the german ca18det is a bit different and doesnt have a transistor? What is this harness from and can it be modified to work with my jap spec ca18det...guys i really need a car working...someone please help me.

The German harness should work fine, unless you got the wrong harness, can you take a good clear picture of the harness and post it so we can take a look at it?

ok, well maybe the wrong harness was sent...but all i know is that he said it was from a 1993 ca18det 200sx from germany. It is uncut and has all of the plugs as far as i know... but for some reason it is a wee bit different than my jap harness and it doesnt have the igniter plugs for the ignitor...everything else seems to plug in properly... I have the numbers and words on the white jecs tag on the harness if that will help people identify what it came from. here are some pictures of the harness i recieved:

We don't have non-turbo ca18 here in Germany. All 200sx came with turbos. There wasn't a 200sx offered here in Germany with any other motor then a CA18det.
