Need IGNITER CHIP!! Stock inter cooler too.

I HAVE THE RB OUT AND FOUND THAT I HAVE NO IGNITER CHIP.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

300zx or j30 chip should work as it is a direct replacement.courtosey nissan sells one new for 180, which isnt bad.i would pull one from a junkyard first before buying a new one.its one of those parts thats a 'pocketable' item.

type II RB25's have no igniter. i thought the same damn thing when i got my engine, no igniter.

all rb20s have ignitor chips not the case with the rb25

Are there left over plugs at the back of the motor on top of the coil cover or is there a bracket bolted there and everything plugs in? If everything plugs in, it is a series 2 and there is no igniter. If there are open plugs with no place to plug them, email me and I can send you an igniter right away.

The spec 2s started late 95 (October built to be exact) they were the releaced 96 models.The centre cover should tell you.. with its shape etc..
