Need ideas to bring a dog on folded down back seat..

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone have come up with ways to bring along a small dog in the back seat folded down? What I mean is there a way to "dog proof" all 4 walls of the back seat area folded down? By that I mean something like a huge litter box preferably with walls height that covers the leather area, that I can put securely in the folded down back seat? That way, I don't have to worry about the dog peeing or worse... you know what. If there's an economical way to do this will be awesome , just wondering if any dog owners have done this before. I don't mind going to Lowes or HomeDepot to get material and build one myself if that's the only solution. Any information is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

my dog does is good about that but still can scratch leather so i just put a big blanket down and on the seat,

however i did transport a dog that i didnt know that well and i used a cage, like a medium dog cage it fit well in the cargo area and you could put a towel in the bottom tray for more insurance and if you wished to fold down the seats.. hope this helps,

the blanket works well since you can tuck it around the back seat

Oh, thanks so much for the link BrokenTiller. That looks like a good solution. Punjab, the blanket idea is helpful, both of you give me an idea too of looking for a tarp that's waterproof if I choose to make something custom. Maybe that'll work too, but it's probably easier to go with the Venza's. I thought about a cage, but would only use that if there's no other option. Thank you both for responding, I appreciate the help.
