Need ideas on what to do about a broken alarm remote screen.

Got this car alarm off of Ebay and the alarm works great and all its just that plastic screen shield is crappy and after 2 weeks had cracks all over it, the remote has never even been dropped. (By the way the remote style is a copy of clifford G5)

Any ideas on what i can do to protect the screen and actually see what its showing?
