Hello guys and gals, this is my first post. I am going to take on a project that I have always wanted to do and I need your help. I want to build a 240 hatch with a s13 front end and I want it to be right hand drive. My main question right now is what will I need to do to convert a left hand drive 240 into a right hand drive, I am looking for mods that need to be done to the firewall and other areas to mount everything up. I know the engine and all that stuff will just drop in, and I want to buy a entire front clip with everything I need. I am just gathering info now and this may not happen for a couple of months.

Thanks,Andrew

just take the front clip sand and grind edges smooth, take your 240 and cut the front end off, move clip over to the 240 line it up good, tack weld the clip in place, do some more sanding ,welding, paint it up and your good to go!! make sure you got it on all sraight or youll be driving in circles all day!!

So, you can't just cut out the firewall and replace it and all the steering components with the silvia counterparts? If I have to do that with the front clip it looks like I will stay lhd.

i stayed lhd because im lazy, but the steering wheel conversion might not be too hard. if you want a rhd i say just buy a 180sx from ebay that someone imported. i think the heater things under the dash would pose a problem, because you would have to

from what i have seen rhd conversion would be really hard. Having to cut, and weld the firewall. Id just stay lfd, but if you decide to go rhd good luck.

The "easiest" way is to buy a silvia front clip, strip the clip, strip your car, cut the firewalls out of both, and weld the JDM firewall into your car, then swap the dash and all the steering components. It isn't overly practical unless you can weld, if you can't you'll be spending way, way too much money. Enjoy your day!
