need help with xenon 01 headlights

i put 01 headlight on my 98qt and the low beam hid dont seem to be very bright. Is there some kind of reducer or something? if so can would i be able to by pass it to make my low beams hella brighter

id take a pic. may need finer adjusting for the beam. you gotta remember this is a reflector housing HID and not a projector so light output won't be a generous

The box appears to be the ballast for the HID lighting system- a critical, must have component of HID style lighting systems. The function of the ballast is to step up the vehicles 12 volt electrical output to a much higher voltage to ignite and run a arc {HID} type lamp. You may have a faulty ballast if you are not getting a brightly lit bulb.

You have to be joking. You took the time to install HID headlights but removed the ballasts? If you are running 12 volts through HID bulbs then you are about 34,988 volts short!

that was from my old headlight that got the lenses broken. Its no the ballast, the ballast goes underneath the headlight it self. it has to be some kind of regulator but im not sure. Thats why im asking what it is

im trying to figure out WHAT that is!!!!? i have new headlights now all new ballast and everything. that came off my old headlight so does anyone know what it is!!!!????????
