well, all you need is to turbo it, add a body kit, add some gas and away you go!!!
actually what you want to do is install the router software on your main computer. This computer, for sake of easy, should be always connected to the router via the USB Port. With this computer you will be able to set your router settings, access your printer from any computer in your network and talk to your 'Honey's' laptop.
Anyway, set the name of the network on all 3 computers to the same name. IE: My network's name is Graphfixz. So I configured all 3 computers to have the Network name Graphfixz.
Give all computers different names. This setting and the network setting should be relatively simple and around the same location/area.
so.... diagram....
1) from the phone plug to your DSL Modem2) from your DSL to your spanking new Router3) from your Router to the always connected/do not touch after it is all working/main computer3.a) from the Router to your laptops4) from your laptops back to your always connected/do not touch after it is all working/main computer for printing, scanning, video, pictures etc. etc. services
whoa... please ignore my horrid spelling. The MinuteMan Project is taking too much of my mind!
