I need a little light shed upon me here. This morning, when I went to start up the car for a little warm up, the wipers were still on from last night. Unfortunately, the driver side wiper was stuck to the glass, but that did not stop the passenger side from working. Now the driver side is lathargic and can not keep up like it should. I'm guessing that it is just slipping on the arm shaft. Is there a nut to tighen this down and get me back on the road? Luckily, there was enough snow fall overnight I was encouraged to car pool with the wife in the Av and leave the I30 on the driveway. Since the snow will melt and make a mess of things today, I will need to be roadworthy by Wednesday. Thanks Gang --Mike

Afternoon edit - Looks like I may have answered my own question here. It appears there is in fact a hold down bolt I can apply some torque to. I guess my only concern is that I stripped out the "teeth" on the arm shaft or the wiper arm itself. I suppose I need to stop treating this thing like a truck....

That was my first thought when reading your post.
