Hey guys, i need some assistance! I just ordered a new set of a wheels but i forgot to check if my car can even fit a +30 offset... I got mb battle wheels +30 offsets. Im looking to wrap them in 225/45/18. I'll be dropping my car on eibachs right after. am i going to rub or will i sit flushed at the stock fender? will i rub inside in the front as well or is the wheel well going to be big enough?

What are your wheel specs? 18x????? +30. Let me know your width. But if anything a 50 series tire is a bit too much.... too tall. It's going to look funky on a 18

Not only it will look funky, but also it might bubble up. It's just like stretching tires, it gets dangerous at one point. Same for too much tire.

alright i guess 225/50/18 are out of the story haha the wheels are 18x8 +30. i was just thinking about the 50 but if its not going to be comprable it would be a waste. ill stick with 225/45/18.

You need to go 235/45/18 to match your OEM O.D. which will keep your speedometer and odometer correct. The 225's are cheaper, but it's going to make your odometer roll over faster. BTW I'm on 235/45r18's with 18x8 +33mm / 18x8.5 +30 offset on eibach's; you'll be good.

Yes your overall diameter is smaller; you are now making more revolutions per mile, which will make your speedometer read faster then you are actually going and your odometer is now rolling over more mile than you are actually going too.

no wonder why everything feels like its going up so fast lol.. i gotta get the correct conversion then. 235/45/18 is the exact right?

Should just stay within about 3% of stock, but that's the stock tire size so it's perfect.

Like Bricci said, but my personal preference is if your 3% off it's better to be off on the high side so that your odometer roll over slower rather then the other way around like you are now.
